Ginger Tea/ Ginger Lemon Honey Tea

I have previously mentioned that ginger has been shown to have amazing anti-inflammatory effects. I have noticed that the link I have provided previously has been moved, and doesn't exist any more. Please check this link for the detailed health benefits of ginger:

I have been sniffling and sneezing the last few days, and finally decided to fight off the virus with the staple brewed ginger tea. I don't really like the pungent taste of plain ginger tea, so in order to make it palatable, I added the lemon and the honey. As to how efficient it really is, all I have to say is that I can breathe again.

Ingredients:
Water: 1.5 cups
Ginger: 2 inch root, crushed
Honey: 1 tbsp
Lemon: juice from 1 lemon (can use Lime also)

Method:
Simmer the ginger in the water for about 10 minutes on a low flame.
Filter the ginger tea into a cup. Add the honey and the lemon juice.
Mix and sip while still hot.

Hope you feel better soon!!!
